... Now queue "Womanizer" by Britney Spears...

SOOOOOOOOOO despite the fact that the movie was based on historical references... I failed to realize that the ending was already designated.. so I watched the whole thing praying that Natalie Portman would get away...

Loved the cast and the casting... everyone played their roles well and what I loved about this was that the trailer didn't give it all away-- you'd think such a predictable story would have a predictable plot that would be easily given away at the trailers... well HAHA this isn't one of them! I would expect Anne (Natalie Portman) to be much crueler than she was... But they gave a reason to why she was doing such things... which I guess justified her actions...

Is it me or is Eric Bana reduckuluzly ginormuz? He's super tall compared to Natalie Portman, who isn't exactly very short... Great for a king to look big tall and mighty eh? Pritty attractive guy too.

I loved that Scarlet Johanson (Mary) got to play the part she did...  and I love how "trying to do the right thing" ended up messing everyone's lives! It all started with her, the innocent sister with innocent intentions, with the angelic face.

Okay this movie got SO scandalous-- but it's a good scandalous-- like Nip/Tuck scandalous not like... cheesy Gossip Girl or whatever scandalous (sorry fans!)

I gasped, I giggled, and I was shocked... so many implications.. such as when Mary suggested that her BROTHE should impregnate her!!!! :OOO!!!!!!!!

Oh I liked their English accents too... lol they were all American-ish but I liked that because that means it's audible for me LOL

So... I thought the first 2/3 of the movie was absolutely wonderful... with great character developments, twists, and a great plot but it turned sour by the end because ... well LOL I guess it dragged on for too long... oh that and I didn't like the result... I didn't want Anne to die... because she was just an ambitious girl who made some wrong moves.. she originally started this thing to get back at her sister for betraying her... and I felt like she was misunderstood.

I ended up hating Eric Bana... ROFL It was funny because he was one of the silliest characters in the film too... he was so easily manipulated.

Yeah so the last third was terrible for me... it was boring... uninteresting and just kinda cruel. I wished they spent as much effort into the end as the beginning... I don't think a movie's worth much if it doesn't have a good ending or beginning... those are the most memorable parts anyway... right?

So I would still recommend that you see this-- but if you start getting bored, turn it off. It's because it gets so scandalous ... if you love drama, you'll love the wicked turns this movie has. Greatly entertaining-- for the first 2/3 anyway!
