The beginning of it was who-LaRiOUS!

LOL I can still smile when I think about it... A giant elephant going around running away and the hoard of gorillas are firing bananas at him from their armpits mocking the fire-power of a machine gun.. That's the absolute best scene in the movie.

**on a tangent**
HEY guess what? My nickname here is grilledBANANAS and they were using bananas to fire at an elephant. Elephants are strong, graceful and intelligent... and people usually use someone's weakness to attack their opponent right? Kind of like how Lex Luther uses kryptonite against Superman...? So that means bananas are Horton's weakness.... therefore, I'm a cooked version of something that can defeat an animated elephant.  +++cool points for me!
**off tangent**

I LOVED the colors in the movie... The animators/whatever people did a great job at it... This movie felt more 3D than My Bloody Valentine 3D, yeah, an ACTUAL 3D movie. The movie brings you into another world full of life, colors, wonder and stress-free fun! Well, it brings you into TWO worlds! I've never read the Dr. Seuss book-version of it but I don't think it's nearly as dimensional and as visually devour-able as the movie was. A majority of the movie is a teensey-bit more boring but luckily picks up again at the end. So overall, I highly reccomend the first 10 minutes of the movie because the animation is wonderful. I don't care what you do afterwards but give the first bit of it a try, THEN decide if you want to finish it.

OH YEAH HOW COULD I FORGET. THE CUTEST CHARACTER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVEEEEEEE IT. KATIE. whatever it is, it's the most ADORABLE THING EVERRR and now my new lover. We're both yellow ;) "In my world, everyone's a pony, and they all eat rainbows and poop butterflies."

i got sad when i found out that Dr. Suess died i was like oh no... no more books or movies i still have all the books and movies by Dr.Suess

Here is the plot of the movie ....
One day, Horton the elephant hears a cry from help coming from a speck of dust. Even though he can't see anyone on the speck, he decides to help it. As it turns out, the speck of dust is home to the Whos, who live in their city of Whoville. Horton agrees to help protect the Whos and their home, but this gives him nothing but torment from his neighbors, who refuse to believe that anything could survive on the speck. Still, Horton stands by the motto that, "After all, a person is a person, no matter how small."

Yea that yellow thing is

Yea that yellow thing is adorable:) and yea I think I've read the books:):D

If you're a guy and your girl

If you're a guy and your girl friend really wants you to see this, be warned - it's SUPER slow. A lot of the jokes are funny, but there isn't a lot of crossover humor that's funny on multiple levels that get with animated films like Shriek. Most of the jokes are slap stick. The characters are super cool, I love the style of Dr. Suess and really enjoyed the books when I was a little kid, but I personally could hardly stay awake through this film. Oh yeah the little yellow she creature is NOT CUTE!
