I got confused. Does Brad Pitt really look as young as he does when he plays Benjamin at around the age of 20?

It got me curious because those scenes were especially short, it makes me believe that they used TONS of makeup just to cover up his wrinkles... maybe LOTS of primer/filler stuff in between them. I also remember Brad Pitt aging a lot and looking more prune-ish than he did in this recent movie. Cate Blanchett Cate Blanchett was so pretty. I just looked at her and was like... "Whoa is this Meryl Streep? Because she suddenly looks half her age and looks like she got facial reconstruction to look hot. I wonder how much they spent on her makeup... or the plastic surgery." LOL and THEN I realized that Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett were completely different people and I have no idea of how in the world I got the two mixed up.

*side note* Does anyone else think that the chick on the left is cute? She's adorable!

I went to see the movie on opening day not because I knew it was a chick-flick. It was mainly for that trippy idea of someone aging backwards-- isn't that creative? I mean it's an idea that've probably crossed our minds more than once... So people spending tons of time and money to make the movie so our curiosities are quenched (and for a butt-load of profit) is of course going to attract tons of attention. The theatre was PACKED. So apparently it's a chick-flick, according to this guy. I guess there wasn't enough sex and violence in there. I mean there was an overload of gentle love-making...?... Between like an 80 year-old dude and a young hottie black hooker? I guess that guy could've also been struck like 30 times instead of just 7.. and then trampled by a herd of buffalos or something. The movie... hmm... was a bit long for me-- I can't remember well but it gives off the feeling that it was going on for at least three hours... I guess it kinda makes sense right? It's following through with the life of a man who's aging in reverse -- wait... *excuse me* DE-aging--and everything in life can't be THAT exciting even if you're getting Alzheimer's or something like that at the age of 3. The movement of the plot got uninteresting and slow at some parts... but the movie was visually stimulating enough for me to remain in my seat (I mean if you got sick of the story, you could always stare at Brad Pitt or Cate Blanchett right? They're both some-what attractive ;) -- easy on the eyes, whatever). I especially loved the scenes where this man was struck down by lightening repetitively. It was wise of the writers or whoever in charge to have those 7 scenes spread throughout the movie. Either way, I would NOT watch this movie again. Not worth the time-consumption.

I liked the dancing parts but

I liked the dancing parts but i'm not crazy about em... guess we're just interested in different scenes...

Benjamin Button was a very

Benjamin Button was a very boring character. He had like no personality. If you had to describe him and what type of a person he was after seeing the film, you'd be hard pressed to use anything other than standard bs like a nice guy. I had a very hard time buying why girls would have even liked him considering he barley said anything and never said anything even remotely cool or funny. Maybe it's suppose to revolve around his good looks.

I also wanted to see this film specifically because the premise seemed very creative. I love the idea of examining a life lived backwords and find that premise alone compelling enough to get me to buy a ticket. Although I didn't love this movie, just thought it was ok, considering the boringness of the main character and super long length (way over 2 hours). Cate Blanchett was incredible hot as a firey dancing red head. I loved her dancing scenes and thought she played her part very well!
