Open Source Sci-Fi Movie Trailer for Jathia’s Wager RELEASED

Jathia’s Wager is an open source science fiction film that has received international attention for it’s collaborative filmmaking approach and free public release. Watch the prequel trailer below:

What you’ve just seen is only the prequel teaser trailer. We’re currently in production on the main Sci-Fi film Jathia’s Wager.

Jathia’s Wager is a science fiction story about a young man living in an isolated community of humans, who must make a life changing decision about his future and his species.

View the official Jathia’s Wager website and join our meetup group and be a part of the movie making process - this is a collaborative film so you are invited to join us . The prequel was written, shot and produced in under 30 days without a budget. It was a test to get our team working efficiently together to produce an original collaborative production and build some momentum for the short film.

Everything except the music is released under a creative commons by-sa. All the source files are available below under a creative commons by-sa license. We’re still discussing the licensing options for the original score and sound design provided by amber audio. In keeping with the open source definition I’m releasing a version that is identical to the one you just saw only without the music. It will released under the creative commons by-sa license (like the source files) and will be put on this website later today. If you have questions or are having trouble with a specific file please contact me direct.
